Entities are a required part of shipment documentation to identify who is responsible at various points during a shipment. When preparing a shipment, you will need to add at least an Exporter and Ultimate Consignee.

- Ultimate Consignee
- Bill To
- Freight Forwarder
- Other Entities
After you have completed the Shipments Details screen, you will add your entities by selecting which Entity you will be adding from the Entities menu on the left sidebar.
For each Entity type, you will be entering, complete the screens with as much information as necessary.
NOTE: Fields with the AES icon are required for AES filing.
Adding a saved Entity from the Entities Master
You can also add saved entities to a shipment by entering a few characters and selecting the "Search" button.
A window will open where you can select your entity.
Selecting an entity from the window will auto-populate any saved data to avoid data duplication.
Auto-populated information can be edited as necessary for the specific shipment that you are working with.
Be sure to click "Save" for every Entity.
