Important Considerations

  • Required logistics information may vary depending on the shipment's transportation mode, origin, destination, and applicable customs requirements.

  • Carrier and transportation details should be consistent with the shipment's booking information and supporting shipping documents.

  • Customs information should be reviewed for accuracy before generating documentation or submitting information for customs processing.

  • Logistics records should be updated whenever transportation arrangements or shipment details change.

  • Maintaining complete logistics information helps support accurate documentation and efficient shipment processing.

Best Practice: Verify transportation, carrier, and customs details before finalizing shipment documentation to reduce discrepancies and potential delays during transit or customs clearance.
